Graduating cum laude from Seattle University, Dr. Gan earned double degrees in Mathematics and General Science with a Minor in Studio Art. She continued her pursuit of artistry through dentistry and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from NYU College of Dentistry. Completing a one-year General Practice Residency, she continued to perfect her skills at Nassau University Medical Center. She believes in delivering comfortable care and created a technique to deliver gentle anesthesia that she presented at the Pacific Northwest Dental Conference. Continually expanding her knowledge, she spends many weekends taking continuing education courses to deliver only the best to her patients.
Personal
Born and raised in Manitoba, Canada, Dr. Gan spent some time in Indiana before settling in the Greater Seattle area. She loves spending time with her sweet pets – a cat and Billy Barkums, the office pup. You may find her dancing, running, bowling, or cheering on the Seattle Mariners. She also enjoys good food, good company, and hugging cute plushies.
Had the best experience at Genuine Smiles with Dr. Gan! Dr Gan cleaned my teeth with precision and ease. She checked on my comfort throughout the procedure and was attentive to every detail of my cleaning and well being. She was very good at explaining everything and making recommendations for my oral health. Most importantly to me though is she is very honest and does not push unnecessary treatments like I had experienced at my previous dental clinic. Bottom line I can't say enough great things about her and Genuine Smiles! Very highly recommended!!!
